Dr. Travis Perera is a Senior Consultant and Member of the Boards of Management and Study at the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, specializing and lecturing in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Leadership and Business Development and Organizational Behavior. He also served as the coordinator of PIM’s Development Projects under its Disaster Management Program 2005. He has served on numerous Panels of Judges of local and international awards.

A Designs Engineer by profession, Dr. Perera has nearly twenty-five years of executive and senior management experience in the private sector as Engineer, Project Manager, Business Development Manager and General Manager. He earned an MBA with Merit from the PIM and the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D. in Business Administration for his doctoral thesis on Commitment in High Performing Sri Lankan Companies in the area of Organizational Behavior.

Dr. Perera’s professional and academic reputation has been built through his specialist activities in training programs internationally, research publications and participation in numerous national & International conferences where he won the awards for the three best papers in conferences in Bangalore, New Delhi and South Africa respectively.
