ABOUT THE AWARD

This category is open to Sri Lankan companies, organisations and brands.

You should be able to demonstrate the innovative use of digital technologies with the objective of transforming your products/services. In your entry, you must provide a detailed view of how you were able to develop a platform that supports your customers or clients in the ever-changing digital ecosystem. You must also provide an insightful look at how you used digital technologies most effectively by demonstrating how digitizing your products/services have significantly improved your business/organisation over the past year.

We are inviting companies and organisations to submit an entry, and we will be selecting a winner in each of the following industries/sectors:

– Financial Industry
– Information Industry
– Travel and Leisure
– Media and Publishing
– Health Care and Personal Services
– Professional Services
– Retail
– Manufacturing, Transportation, Storage and Logistics
– Government Institutions and NGOs

JUDGING CRITERIA

The judges will be looking for three key elements in the entries:

– Execution: How the shift to a digital-enabled service or product was able to transform the daily operations of your company/organisation.

– Innovation: How this challenged standard practices in the industry which your company/organisation operates in.

– Value: The value that it brought to your customers/clients and consequently, the value that it has brought to your company/organisation.

– Outcome: Your KPIs against the digital enabled product or service objectives.

Best Digital-Integrated Campaign

ABOUT THE AWARD

Sri Lankan companies, organisations and brands can submit entries to this category.

Having well-coordinated activities are critical to the success of any marketing campaign. Participants should demonstrate how different mediums have come into play — simultaneously or in different stages of the campaign— to make sure that the marketing message is received by the greatest number of people within the target market. In your entries, highlight how digital have played a pivotal role in the campaign execution.

We are inviting companies and organisations to submit an entry, and we will be selecting a winner in each of the following industries/sectors:

The judges will be looking at the following:

– Execution: How the medium has been used to positively influence the success of the campaign.
– Innovation: Have you explored new digital platforms in administering the campaign.
– Outcome: Your KPIs against the campaign objectives.

Best Community Empowerment Programme

ABOUT THE AWARD

We are inviting Sri Lankan companies, organisations and brands to submit entries for this category.

Your entry should highlight how digital technologies have played an important role in enabling communities to increase control over their lives. Demonstrate the impact of your campaign by showing how it has been able to empower the residents and transform these communities using or via digital technologies.

We are inviting companies and organisations to submit an entry, and we will be selecting a winner in each of the following industries/sectors:

– Health Care and Personal Services
– Professional Services

JUDGING CRITERIA

The judges will be looking at two key points:

– Execution: How you have integrated digital for community empowerment.

– Outcome: How your community programme “empowered” the people in the community; specifically, the positive changes it encouraged. Your KPIs against the programme objectives.

Best Digital Media Agency

ABOUT THE AWARD

This particular award aims to recognise agencies that have demonstrated excellence in the field of digital media.

The agency should demonstrate — using at least one case study — that they have continued to challenge existing thinking and practice in the industry with ingenious strategy, groundbreaking usage of digital media platforms and high-quality executions.

We are inviting Sri Lankan agencies to submit entries, and we will be selecting a winning agency for their work/contribution in each of the following industries/sectors:

– Information Industry
– Travel and Leisure
– Media and Publishing

JUDGING CRITERIA

The judges will be looking at:

– Innovation: How you have continually challenged the current practices in digital media in the particular sector/industry which you are submitting entry for.

– Creativity: If you are presenting a marketing campaign, demonstrate your agency’s creative approach in executing the
campaign, and in detail, present the outcome against set objectives

– Outcome: Your KPIs against the creative piece.

Best Website Or Microsite

ABOUT THE AWARD

This award is open to digital media agencies, companies, organisations and brands.

The award aims to recognise excellence in website/microsite design and development. Your entry should demonstrate how the overall functionality of the site, structure, navigation, content, and design have been taken into account to fulfill the objectives of the website or microsite. In determining the winners, the website’s creativity and complex interactive features will be taken into account.
We are inviting Sri Lankan digital media agencies, companies, organisations and brands to submit entries, and we will be selecting winners  in each of the following industries/sectors:

– User Interface: From the design component, how the interface follow current design principles and how the site’s function creates seamless experience for users.

– Outcome: Your KPIs against the Website or Microsite introduction/development objectives.

Best Use Of Mobile

ABOUT THE AWARD

Best Use of Mobile entails the effective use of the platform. This award is open to digital media agencies, companies, organisations and brands.

Entries should be able to showcase the innovation and the forward-thinking concept behind the execution whether it is engaging content, useful application, services or utilities.

We are inviting Sri Lankan digital media agencies, companies, organisations and brands to submit entries, and we will be selecting winning agency in each of the following industries/sectors:

ABOUT THE AWARD

Public figure and celebrities are powerful social media influencers.

This award aims to recognise public personalities that have effectively used digital media to promote their bodies of work or personal advocies.

Best Software/Application Development

ABOUT THE AWARD

This award is open to students and professionals alike working in a team or exclusively.

You should showcase locally designed and developed systems or applications software that have transformed or is aimed to transform businesses/organisations.

More important is to highlight how the features and utilities of the software have been particularly tailored to meet the demands of the local and/or international market.

JUDGING CRITERIA

The judges will be looking at the following:

– Execution: The basis on which the software/application awas developed and how the system was developed to meet the objective.
– Innovation: How this challenged standard practices in the industry.
– Value: How the software has added/could add value to organisations or improve the lives of users, or even becoming the pioneer in the industry.
